As a former Assistant Attorney General in Massachusetts, Mr. Klein was responsible for overseeing civil enforcement of the Commonwealth’s Assault Weapons ban and other gun safety laws.

Mr. Klein is also the main author and editor of Shattered — The Gun Accident Journal, a daily record of unintentional shootings. The journal augments published data on unintended shootings by providing stories that illustrate the tragic consequences of inattention to gun safety.
